MERIT SYSTEM RULES VIOLATED BY EMPLOYEE ELECTED AS SUPERVISOR. --A state merit system employee holding public office as an elected Soil and Water Conservation District supervisor would be in violation of the merit system rules. 1975 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 75-45.
